Performs general patient care such as, hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and increased/constant observation in a basic role with the guidanceand mentoring of the Registered Nurse. Responsibilities Essential Functions - Provides routine treatments and interventions consistent with the educational level and skills learned in the academic environment and demonstrated competency through Orlando Health. - Performs advanced skills after achievement of demonstrated competencies such as: nasogastric tube irrigation, suctioning, and removal; wound irrigation; complex dressing change without packing of wounds; maintenance of enteral tube feeding (Dobhoff, Nasogastric, and Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy).. - Performs increase or continuous visual observation for Baker Act, behavioral health and suicide risk patients as assigned. - Assists patients with hygiene, mobility, and nutritional needs. - Maintains safety and security of patients, families, self, and other members of the healthcare team. ...Intern, Behavioral Health, Registered Nurse, Nurse, Healthcare, Patient
