Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures, administering radio-pharmaceutical for the purpose of detecting pathology, evaluating function, or as a means of therapy. MEC approval: 7/11/2016 Education:Associates degree in radiography is required or,Graduate of an accredited certificate program for radiography is required. Experience:One year of experience in nuclear medicine is preferred. Certification/ Licensure:Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear) or NMTCB required.
