Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technician

Location: New York, NY 10029

Schedule: 8AM – 4PM & 10AM – 6PM, Mon-Fri

Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension

Traveler's Pay Range: $3,200 - $3,480/Week

Job Description:

• Operates Nuclear Lab, performing diagnostic imaging procedures and ensuring patient comfort, safety, and emotional support throughout.
• Administers and calculates doses, performs QC procedures, and demonstrates strong knowledge of imaging technologies and QC rationale.
• Prepares imaging results for interpretation, including labeling, formatting, documentation, and data archiving/retrieval.
• Troubleshoots and resolves minor equipment and image quality issues, performing computer processing and technical support tasks.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, conducts wipe tests, surveys, waste disposal, and maintains a safe work environment.

Required Experience:

• 1 year experience as a Nuclear Tech
• 0-2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Education:

• Associate& Degree required, Bachelor& degree preferred.

License & Certificates:

• Radiologic Technologist Licensing issued by New York State Dept. of Health
• BCLS certification – Required Issuing Authority: AHA or Red Cross
• ARRT or NMTCB Certification in Nuclear Medicine and Post Secondary Certification in Computed Tomography.
