Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for Nuclear Med Tech positions that will provide support for our client's healthcare systems in Aberdeen, WA. This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Description:

Job Title: Nuclear Med Tech

Location: Aberdeen, WA

Schedule: 40 hours/week

Shift: Variable dayshift start times

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Range for Traveler: $2,750.00- $2,817.00 Weekly DOE

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to be responsible for the preparation and administration of radioactive drugs. Nuclear medicine technologist's responsibilities include operating imaging equipment and ensuring the safety of all medical staff and patients from unnecessary radiation exposure.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals via oral, injection, or inhalation
  • Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort during imaging
  • Operate PET and SPECT imaging equipment
  • Process and capture images of organs such as brain, heart, lungs, and kidneys
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions to radiopharmaceuticals
  • Maintain accurate records of doses and procedures
  • Produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation
  • Follow radiation safety protocols for patients and staff
  • Inspect and maintain imaging equipment
  • Stay updated on advancements in nuclear medicine technology

Required Certification & Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 year of Nuclear Med Tech experience.
  • Certification: Must hold current certifications in AART and NMTCB
