Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technician

Location: New York, NY

Shift: 5x8s | M-F

Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technician to support offsite Nuclear Lab operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures, testing and maintaining equipment, and educating patients and their families on procedures while adhering to all relevant policies and standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
• Perform nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
• Educate patients and their families about procedures, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory standards related to nuclear medicine.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procedures and equipment testing.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technician
• Associate's Degree in a related field (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) credential by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
