Hospital-Based PA/NP - Inpatient Cardiology Location: Albany, NY Position: Full-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Salary: Based on experience and qualifications Are you ready to take the next step in your career and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives? We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate PA or NP to join a respected inpatient cardiology team serving the Albany community. This is a hospital-based position focused on inpatient cardiology care . You will manage cardiology service patients, handle consultations, respond to pages, and provide routine and urgent care-all while being supported by a cardiologist on call for urgent matters. Position Highlights: • Inpatient-only role-no outpatient duties • Schedule:
- Two 14-hour shifts and one 12-hour shift per week (total 40 hrs)
- Overnight shifts primarily, with occasional daytime coverage (8 AM - 6 PM)
- Rotating weekends and holidays (typically 3-4 holidays per year)
• Patient load: Manage 8-15 cardiology consultations daily • No coverage for non-cardiology departments required • Supportive team environment with collaboration from cardiologists Requirements: • Active NYS NP or PA license in good standing • Board Certification • Current BLS and ACLS certifications • Strong clinical knowledge in cardiology or critical care is a plus • New graduates with a strong interest in inpatient care are encouraged to apply!
