Non OHSU Student Worker - Oregon Health & Science University : Job Details

Under direct supervision, primarily performs basic research or lab activities similar to a Research Assistant 1 or Lab Aide Research at the OHSU-SOD will include not only basic bench work in the laboratory but also learning how to design experiments:Independently using instrumentation and performing basic laboratory techniques such as pipetting and buffering solutions with a p. H meter. Generating and analyzing data from experiments and collected health surveys. The summer will include lab meetings and learning how to keep a lab notebook and daily log of activities Required Qualifications Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in High school or an undergraduate program with a minimum of 6 credit hours. Demonstratable record of reliable attendance, punctuality and proven successful performance. Demonstrated ability to read, write and understand written and oralinstruction in English.
