Nights Truck Driver/Laborer - CRH PLC : Job Details

Drives truck equipped with dump body to transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, coal by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water. Never operate unsafe equipment. Drive in a safe manner. Never run through water or over rocks in the road or pit. Inspect all dump zones and stockpiles before dumping loads. Lower bed before leaving dump zones. Assist plant operator as needed for repairs and maintenance. If problems arise, contact plant operator or supervisor for help. Load trucks so that no material is spread on roadways. Check bed for contamination when switching stone sizes. Ensure that assigned vehicle meets appropriate company and governmental guidelines.
