We are currently recruiting a Lead High Speed Insert Operator to join our dynamic Production Operations team in Coppell.

Work Mode: This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time. Help oversee daily shift operations, ensuring client-driven deadlines are met, key processes are followed, and a quality product is produced. Effectively coordinates work flow/volume with resources while motivating others to achieve predetermined quality and efficiency goals. Assists with machine operation training, applying company policies and interfacing with other departments. Set up, operate and monitor high-speed inserting equipment used in the production and assembly of client output. Ensures every job is verified, materials for the job match customer requests and achieves throughput goals assigned by management. Reports to supervisor. Acts as a leader to Insert/High-Speed/Cutsheet Insert Operators and takes on additional responsibilities in the supervisor's absence.

Ability to interpret production orders, follow in-depth work instructions, and keep the machine running at the optimal pace for the job. Evaluates and is responsible for quality throughout each job. Completes all required documentation relevant to every job. Performs preventative maintenance and authorized repairs. Resolves all systems issues proactively, seeking guidance as needed. Successfully meets and maintains all defined monthly Operator Efficiency Goals. Follows all departmental and safety procedures. May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Requirements:

• Requires standing for 12-hour shifts, comfortably reaching 20, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, push, pull and reach throughout duration of assigned 12 hour shifts
• Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge policies and procedures
• Ability to work in a noisy environment (ear protection provided and required)
• Related work experience with strong time-management and interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to interact and effectively communicate with team members, internal and external, and liaisons
• Proficient in Microsoft office and Computer skills
• Proficient in the English language

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience within a production environment
• Minimum of 3-5 years in production environment, preferred
• Experience in the operation of material insert machines is necessary.
• Understands overall operation of equipment and their interrelations.
• Associates degree, preferred
• 1 year lead/supervisory experience in a production environment, preferred

Hourly Range $15.50 - 19.75 USD. Bonus Eligible.
