Your Role:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide essential respiratory care to patients throughout the hospital, with a focus on neonatal intensive care. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care during critical moments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to emergencies, conducting assessments and interventions as needed.
• Perform respiratory care procedures and adjust treatments based on patient evaluations.
• Carry out arterial blood gas (ABG) tests and interpret results accurately.
• Check emergency supplies and equipment daily and after use.
• Utilize various respiratory devices and technologies, including Draeger Ventilators and iVent systems.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Associate's Degree or completion of a Technical School program
• Kansas Respiratory Therapist License
• BCLS certification through the American Heart Association
• NRP for NICU work

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1 year of position-related experience
• Certification as a Pulmonary Function Tech

Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), including weekends.
