Night Hospitalist - Yale-New Haven Health : Job Details

Northeast Medical Group, Inc. seeks Night Hospitalists to work at Yale New-Haven Hospitals locations in New Haven, CT. Night Hospitalists will provide comprehensive medical care in internal medicine to adult inpatients through admissions, cross coverage and discharge; contact patients Primary Care physician about in-hospital / follow-up care; provide Primary Care physician hospital diagnosis; and new prescriptions / treatment. Night Hospitalists will cover evenings, weekends, and will assume Attending Physician role during occasional weekend day shifts. Candidates must have a M. D. or D. O. (foreign equivalent accepted); CT physician license prior to employment commencing; completion of Internal Medicine residency program; and BE/ BC in Internal Medicine.
