Job Summary:

As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing the hotels overnight operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and delivering exceptional guest service. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

This is an overnight position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Auditing: Verify and reconcile daily revenue postings, audit financial records for accuracy, and prepare financial reports.
  • Guest Services: Assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries, ensuring a seamless overnight experience.
  • Cash & Security Handling: Control and secure cash and cash equivalents following established policies and procedures.
  • Document Management: Organize, maintain, and secure all financial files and records in accordance with company policies.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Work closely with hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and address guest needs.
  • Safety & Security: Monitor hotel premises, report safety concerns, and maintain awareness of unauthorized persons on the property.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with additional tasks, including answering phones, handling guest requests, and providing written reports.
  • Teamwork & Professionalism: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues while upholding Hyatts standards of excellence.

Physical & Safety Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods during the shift.
  • Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Maintain awareness of emergency procedures and respond to safety concerns in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role preferred. Accounting experience is a plus but not required.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
    • Proficiency in basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining efficiency.
    • Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
