The Night Auditor - Part-time (Friday and Saturday) will be responsible for conducting all nightly audit-related duties while providing guest service at the hotel's front desk. Responsibilities include balancing duties, completing daily paperwork, and preparing shift reports. The Night Auditor will also attend to guest needs such as check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and answering questions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactive guest security and maintaining a safe, clean, and friendly environment.
  • Counting cash and maintaining the accuracy of the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts.
  • Checking the front desk log for issues and special requests.
  • Greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests.
  • Processing guest registrations and payments.
  • Preparing express checkout folios.
  • Maintaining room status inventory.
  • Communicating shift information to relevant staff.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of lobby and bathrooms.
  • Ensuring smooth shift transitions by passing on pertinent information.
  • Collaborating with hotel departments to ensure high-quality service.
  • Answering inquiries about hotel services, amenities, and directions.
  • Completing shift paperwork and nightly audit reports.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
