Job Description :

The Night Auditor will be responsible for conducting all nightly audit-related duties while providing guest service at the hotel's front desk. Responsibilities include balancing duties, completing daily paperwork, and preparing shift reports. The Night Auditor will also attend to guest needs such as check-ins, check-outs, making reservations, and answering questions.

Key duties include:

  • Proactive thinking, ensuring guest security, and creating a safe, clean, and friendly environment.
  • Counting cash and maintaining the accuracy of the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.
  • Checking the front desk log for issues and special requests.
  • Greeting guests, registering them, and assigning rooms.
  • Processing guest registrations and payments.
  • Preparing express checkout folios.
  • Maintaining room status inventory.
  • Communicating shift information to relevant staff.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the lobby and bathroom.
  • Ensuring smooth shift transitions through effective communication.
  • Collaborating with hotel departments to ensure high-quality service.
  • Responding to inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Completing shift paperwork and night audit reports daily.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
