WTHI-TV is seeking a News Producer to join our award-winning team. We're a smaller market station, but we take news seriously. Essential Duties & Responsibilities : Includes the following (other duties may be assigned): Produce Newscast Write compelling broadcast copy and teases Copy edit stories written by others Fill-in produce other newscasts, series and special reports as assigned Develop, write and edit compelling news stories on a daily basis Develop and maintain contacts and news sources throughout viewing area Non-linear editing of VO's and VOSOT's Write, edit and post compelling content for website Other job related duties as required Job Requirements: College degree in journalism or related field Valid driver's license and clean driving record required Strong News judgment Strong Writing skills Background Check Special Skills (Preferred): Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure of strict deadlines Non-linear editing ENPS Web Publishing Skills ******** EOE/MINORITIES/FEMALES/VETERANS/DISABLED ********* Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $30,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
