We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative New Product Development Engineer to lead the design, development, and introduction of new products from concept through production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product design, prototyping, validation, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring new products meet performance, cost, and timeline goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the full product development lifecycle from concept to commercial launch.
• Translate customer needs and market trends into product specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
• Design and develop components, assemblies, and systems using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
• Lead design reviews, DFMEA, risk assessments, and validation testing.
• Manage prototype builds and support testing and evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, certifications, and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including BOMs, drawings, and reports.
• Support production ramp-up and resolve engineering issues post-launch.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Product Design Engineering (Master's is a plus).
• 4+ years of experience in new product development or design engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD tools and PLM systems.
• Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in DFM/DFA, Six Sigma, or Lean methodologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, FDA, CE) based on industry.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping methods (3D printing, CNC, etc.).
• Knowledge of cost engineering and supplier collaboration.
