NEW Permanent MRI Technologist Opening - Southern Pennsylvania
A premier healthcare facility in South Central Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join its imaging team. This role performs both routine and specialized MRI procedures, working with state-of-the-art equipment in a patient-focused environment. Ideal candidates are ARRT or ARMRIT certified and have passed the ARRT advanced-level MRI specialty exam.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI imaging studies, administer IV contrast under physician supervision, and manage patient care throughout the imaging process
Recognize and respond to complications, including contrast reactions
Ensure safety protocols are followed for patients and staff in the MRI environment
Train and mentor new staff members
Participate in the on-call rotation as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality and safety standards
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification required
BLS certification required
Strong patient care skills and proficiency in MRI safety and imaging protocols
