Collaborate with body design from feasibility through design phase to achieve a product that can be manufactured with-in the factory's capabilities while working with MMC's to prepare and execute the trial phase of the new model development.Key AccountabilitiesConduct feasibilities studies on new technologies, design concepts and equipmentReview drawings with internal team and customers to verify the designIdentify past model problem history, opportunities for cost savings and safety concernsCommunicate change points to other departmentsIssue countermeasure request forms to R&D Department for improvements in quality, cost, delivery, safety and assemblyDevelop and present project status updates, change points, recommendations, etc.Identify and document trial problems and discuss countermeasuresSupport quality problems and recommend countermeasuresSupport equipment installs and robot programmingSupport build event preparation and executionQualifications, Experience, and SkillsEducation Required:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field or equivalent related experience.
