Histotechnician Full-Time Early Day Shift Specialized Pathology Lab

Join a high-performing, nationally recognized pathology lab as a Histotechnician, where your work directly supports accurate diagnoses in specialties like oncology, urology, and gastroenterology. This is a full-time, onsite role with early morning shifts (5:00 AM 1:30 PM or 6:00 AM 2:30 PM) ideal for professionals who prefer to have their afternoons free.

• Perform routine and complex histology procedures: grossing, embedding, cutting, staining, and frozen sections

• Prepare and test tissue specimens; report and document results

• Follow all quality control and safety protocols

• Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment and supplies

• Participate in CAP and NYSDOH proficiency testing and continuing education

• Bachelor s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or equivalent

• New York State license required (Clinical Lab Technologist, Technician, Histotechnician, or equivalent)

• 2 5 years of experience preferred

• ASCP certification a plus

• Work in a fast-paced, specialized lab environment supporting critical diagnoses
