ResponsibilitiesBrasfield & Gorrie has exciting opportunities in multiple locations for upcoming graduates interested in full-time employment in the construction industry as an Assistant Field Manager.Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):* Assists Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent in administrative, compliance, procurement, building, and reporting responsibilities, as assigned* Reviews and interprets shop drawings* Reviews submittals and expedites materials* Monitors production rates and schedules* Supervises subcontractors and monitors work performance, progress, and productivity* Supports and/or supervises work crews from excavation through punch list* Follows company policies and procedures and assists with OSHA compliance and on-site safety enforcement* Assists with reporting obligations* Mentor and train assistant field managers and co-op/intern studentsEducation - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience* Must be an upcoming graduate of an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in construction, engineering, or related field* Construction internship/work experience strongly preferred* Must graduate with a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA* Ability to multitask* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Superior organizational skillsThe above description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job.
