As your partner and advocate at every step, we enable you to maintain direct control over your project allowing you to stay focused on the day-to-day responsibilities of running your facilities. Skanska's construction and project delivery expertise translates directly into maximum savings and quality. The Program Engineer provides technical, administrative, and managerial support to Project Managers and Field Managers. The position typically works under direct supervision, performs routine daily activities, and gathers and distributes information. The Project Engineer must be a flexible and adaptable team-player, as well as have strong communication and client service skills.

Project Engineer Required Qualifications:
  • 1+ Years experience working within a project team contributing to coordination, development, and/or tracking of various project needs such as RFIs, submittals, pay applications, document control, project reporting, cost events, schedule updates and close out activities.
  • 1+ Years experience reading and understanding construction plans and drawings and the technical specifications associated with drawings. Ability to outline specifications required for submission to the client along with ensuring construction materials, equipment, and field installations match the approved submittals.
  • 1+ Years of experience in the construction of Commercial building projects (internship experience may be acceptable) with a general contractor/construction management firm.
  • Bachelor's Degree Construction Management, Engineering, or 8 years equivalent industry experience.
