Neurology Nurse Practitioner - Integrity Locums : Job Details

Coverage Needed:

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
• 12-hour shifts available
• Call Frequency: 1:3 weekdays/weekends - beeper
• Looking for Full Time Providers

Clinical Details:

• Practice Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient
• EMR System: Cerner
• Support Staff: RN, MA, PA/NPs, Office Staff
• Procedures: Craniotomy, craniectomy, spinal fusions, decompressive surgeries, interventions for aneurysms, tumors, and nerve injuries
• Duties: Surgical first assist, bedside procedures, independent rounding in all hospital units including NICU, PICU, Peds, ICU, and general med/surg floor, hospital and ER/UC consults, clinic duties including outpatient consultations, postoperative/post-hospital patient care, fracture care, patient phone calls, medication refills, and FMLA documentation
• Call Type: Beeper
• Call Response Time: 20 minutes
• Hospital Stroke Certified: Yes
• Trauma Level: 2
• PEDs Level: 3

Requirements:

• Board Certified/Eligible
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Recent Neurosurgery Experience Including Surgical Cases
• Hospital/Surgery Center Privileges
