Neurology (Neuromuscular Disease) Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - The University of Rochester : Job Details

NP/ PA - - FT position available, Monday-Friday - - Exciting opportunity to join an interdisciplinary team in caring for pediatric and adult patients with a variety of hereditary and acquired neuromuscular disorders and peripheral neuropathies. You will partner with nationally renowned physician experts, dedicated nursing, social work, and technical staff in providing state-of-the art care to patients and families. Major responsibilities include providing direct and indirect care and procedures (skin biopsies) for patients seen in the ambulatory setting. The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training. With mentorship will eventually have the opportunity to participate in the research arm of our division as a co-investigator on clinical trials.
