Job Description Virginia Wesleyan University invites applicants for the position of Neurodiversity Career Development Specialist. Job purpose
- The Neurodiversity Career Development Specialist provides neurodiverse students career counseling and job placement services tailored to the needs of the student. This is a two year, grant funded position.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist in the development and delivery of employment training and curriculum
- Conduct one-on-one career coaching sessions
- Facilitate internship opportunities for neurodiverse students
- Develop partnerships with employers for job placement opportunities
- Support participants in managing career transitions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Vice President for Student Success
