Job #: 2084433 Apex Systems is currently hiring for Deployed Support Technician with our large Government client. Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills: • 2+ years' experience troubleshooting complex routing and switching issues and knowledge of configuring and maintaining network devices such as switches, routers, wireless access points, firewalls, and network appliances. Awareness of network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, and routing protocols.; Skills: Cisco •Coordinates network upgrades and planned maintenance activities with SMIT Program and customer stakeholders. •Works as an Operations-focused Network Technician on a team responsible for BAN/LAN/WAN Network Operations, troubleshooting, schedule upgrades and cutovers, and coordinate with responsible users and sites. •Provides COMSEC Alternate Local Element support to assigned locations, which includes maintaining COMSEC hardware/software assets and key inventories, loading keys into Encryption devices, installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, removing/replacing faulty equipment, interacting with the Primary Local Element and/or the Government KOAMs while standing in for the Primary Local Element and following prescribed procedures and processes related to COMSEC.•Interfaces with Field Base Network Lead and the Network Operations Center (NOC) as required in support of incident troubleshooting and restoral. •Performs maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and removal/replacement of faulty hardware using SOPs, TTPs, work instructions, vendor guidance, and other documented processes and procedures. •Documents work activities/details per established tools and processes; maintains accurate site documentation.
