Job Title: Network Systems Administrator/Team Lead (2nd Shift)

Schedule: 2nd Shift, 3PM to 12AM - Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday - NJ Onsite including Major Holidays. Must reside in the Philadelphia PA or MT Laurel NJ area.

This role focuses on high availability and performance of network infrastructure, contributing to game-day success.

  • Compensation: $130,000 - $180,000 / year
Key Responsibilities
  • Network Operations: Monitor, triage, and resolve network incidents involving circuits, fiber optics, and broadcast environments.
  • Broadcast Network Troubleshooting: Support multicast networking, video streaming, and fiber optic lighting in broadcast systems.
  • Infrastructure Management: Configure, manage, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • System Monitoring: Use platforms like SolarWinds and DataDog to ensure network reliability and performance.
  • Incident Management: Lead network incident resolution, meet SLAs, escalate issues as needed.
  • Security Best Practices: Implement secure networking solutions, protect on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed network documentation, topology maps, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Skills, Knowledge, and ExpertiseRequired Skills
    • Experience in NOC operations and troubleshooting in data center environments (Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki) using ServiceNOW.
    • Managing and troubleshooting broadcast network systems, video streaming, fiber optics.
    • Experience with firewalls, routing, network monitoring tools like SolarWinds.
    • Knowledge of automation tools and scripting for network management.
    • Understanding multicast networking and video encoding technologies.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability.
    Preferred Skills
    • Experience with SolarWinds monitoring platforms.
    • Support and troubleshoot virtualization, containerization, Rubrik backups.
    • Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, O365).
    • Capacity planning and performance tuning knowledge.
    • Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell).
    • Experience with video streaming technologies and CDNs.
    • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, container orchestration.
    Qualifications
    • Provide game day support on major holidays.
    • Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
    • Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, and cloud/server certifications preferred.
    • Experience: Proven expertise in multisite environments.
