Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr

Next Ventures are partnered with a prominent enterprise headquartered in the New York area to help them hire a Senior Network Security Engineer to join their infrastructure team.

This position leans heavily into next-generation firewall management, particularly using Panorama to drive centralized policy enforcement. A major focus of the role involves implementing identity-driven access controls, requiring strong experience integrating firewalls with enterprise identity systems such as Active Directory and LDAP.

Key Experience & Skill Areas:

• 6+ years in hands-on network engineering roles, supporting large-scale environments
• Strong command of core routing and switching protocols (BGP, STP, VLANs)
• Deep expertise in Palo Alto firewall technologies, including Panorama and User-ID policy implementation
• Demonstrated experience tying firewall access to user identities and group roles
• Experience integrating with IAM tools and directory services (Active Directory, SAML, etc.)
• Familiar with Arista and Cisco switching platforms
• Comfortable with complex BGP routing architectures
• Knowledge of Prisma Access, IPsec VPNs, and 802.1X (dot1x) network authentication
