We are seeking a qualified Network Security Engineer for our client on a contract assignment in Maryland. This position is HybridJob DescriptionThis is a contract role for a Network Security Engineer. The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network security measures to protect company's information and systems. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring network activity, identifying and mitigating security threats, and ensuring compliance with security policies. This is a hybrid role, located in Annapolis, MD, with some work from home acceptable.Qualifications::: section

• Network Administration and Network Engineering skills
• Expertise in Network Security and Cybersecurity
• Proficient in Information Security practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Produce technical documents (diagrams, design documents, project plans and schedules, and user instructions) as required.
• Experience with security tools and protocols is a plus

Minimum QualificationsAssociate degree in an Information Technology (IT) related field.Active Certifications

• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) Certification.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise or (CCNP) Security Certification.
