$140,000.00/yr - $147,000.00/yr

Location: Hillsboro, OR (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite weekly)

Compensation: $140,000-$147,000 annually + up to 15% discretionary bonus

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the security, availability, and performance of all network systems across multiple environments. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and capable of working independently while collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors.

This is a hybrid position based in Hillsboro, OR, with the expectation of being onsite 2-3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure and associated networking components
• Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and other critical hardware
• Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement resolutions to improve stability and efficiency
• Deploy and manage monitoring tools to ensure system health and early issue detection
• Perform regular testing, audits, and backups to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness
• Provide tier-3 technical support for escalated issues and collaborate with vendors as needed
• Lead root cause analysis and recommend preventative solutions
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of network architecture and procedures
• Deliver periodic reports on network performance and incidents
• Participate in on-call support rotation for critical events

Required Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in a Network Engineer role supporting enterprise or data center environments
• Strong experience with Cisco and/or Juniper networking technologies
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls
• Proficiency with scripting or automation in at least one language (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby)
• Experience supporting secure and scalable networking environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications such as CCNP and/or JNCIP
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and network security standards
• Prior experience working in data center or mission-critical infrastructure settings
• Work Location: Hillsboro, OR (Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite weekly)
• Travel: Up to 10% domestic travel may be required
• Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Background Check: Successful completion of a comprehensive background screening is required
