ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Engineer I to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This is an onsite position.
As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment. Your effort will go towards dramatically increasing the warfighter's effectiveness. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivityTroubleshoot and resolve basic network issues, keeping our systems running smoothlyMonitor network performance, ensuring maximum availability and reliability for our usersCollaborate with a talented team to implement innovative network solutionsProvide technical expertise in the management of a public and/or private network such as Internet protocol (IP) networks, wide area networks (WANs), and public switched telephone networksPlan, design, install, maintain, monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, modify, and support network communications systems to provide maximum performance and availabilityMinimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma1+ years of experience in network engineering or a similar roleBasic understanding of networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCPFamiliarity with network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewallsExperience in multi-level security networks including cross-domain solutionsPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related fieldRelevant certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+Experience with network monitoring tools to keep a pulse on performanceKnowledge of wireless networking to support modern connectivity needsStrong problem-solving skills to tackle challenges head-onExcellent communication and teamwork abilities to thrive in a collaborative environmentClearance Requirements:
