Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer for a full-time onsite role based in Ocoee, FL. This position involves strategic planning, design, and optimization of network infrastructure, using cutting-edge technologies to develop effective network solutions.
What You'll Do
Develop and implement network solutions using copper, fiber, and wireless infrastructure
Translate business needs into effective network architecture, recommending hardware and software
Manage configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, and wireless access points
Evaluate and recommend new products, staying updated on emerging technologies
Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning, and suggest improvements
Troubleshoot network issues and devise resolution protocols
Lead enterprise-wide initiatives as a Project Leader
Travel to remote locations as required
Participate in after-hours on-call rotation
What You'll Need
Cisco certifications in Network Professional, Design Professional, Security Professional, and Voice Professional domains
Expertise in network infrastructure, including DMARC to workstations, fiber distribution, routers, switches, DHCP, and topology
Extensive experience with HPE/Aruba Switching products
Knowledge of the OSI model and data flow
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Experience with enterprise networking hardware and cloud networking
Proficiency in network performance monitoring and troubleshooting
Bachelor's Degree or Technical Institute Degree/Certificate in Information Systems or related fields, or equivalent work experience
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
The pay range for this position is $58 - $64 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
