Network Engineer - NATIONAL TELEPHONE CO-OP ASSN : Job Details

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Network Engineer is responsible for all engineering functions related to the Data Center. This role focuses on and facilitates, but is not limited to, designing, planning, implementing transport and access systems. Responsibilities extend to development, purchases, and writing plans for all data center equipment installations and remote (carrier) cabinets. The assignment of equipment ports and facilities for telecom circuitry. Additional engineering is performed for outside of plant access equipment, including determining budget bandwidths for access nodes and geographical regions within the Range network. This role has the responsibilities of monitoring network systems, maintaining facility records, and serving as a project manager, maintaining, and reporting on related department projects status and completion status (schedule, budget, and standards). Has a high level of autonomy to perform assigned functions, responsible for industry and policy compliance, including confidentiality.
