Description

BCIC Swiss GmBH | Best Connect International Company is looking for a Dispatch on-site Network Engineer in Italy.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering, with at least 2 years at Level 3 or senior level. Strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies (routing, switching, wireless). Solid working knowledge of AWS networking components and architecture. Experience with Aruba ClearPass for network access control. Expertise in Palo Alto firewall administration and troubleshooting. Proficiency with Infoblox for DNS/DHCP/IPAM services. Strong understanding of network security concepts and practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions and projects.

Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNP, PCNSE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP). Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible). Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies and cloud-native network security models.

Support details: 1. Dispatch model: Mostly 2 days per week, 9am to 5pm, with possible 3-4 days. 2. Site address: Piazza XX Settembre, 2 22079 Villa Guardia (CO). 3. Expected start date: August (exact date TBC). 4. Duration: 6 months, with possible extension based on performance and requirements.

Requirements: Must hold a valid work permit. Extensive knowledge of IT and computers. Several years of professional experience in user support and solution design. Local language B1 level required.
