AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and ensure our customers have continual access to the cloud services they rely on. We work on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain, and we're looking for talented individuals to help.

You'll join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and more. The AWS GCNA (Global Connectivity and Network Availability) Organization manages the backbone network connecting all AWS regions and edge locations, supporting the global AWS network infrastructure.

• Create and implement changes on the network.
• Work with automation teams to define scalable tools.
• Lead projects related to network engineering, deployment, scaling, and optimization.
• Sustain AWS's next-generation networks by diagnosing and resolving large-scale networking events.
• Operate and troubleshoot network routing, interconnectivity, and configurations, including Unix systems and networking software tools.
• Drive innovation from Top of Rack to Network Border.
• Partner with broader network and infrastructure teams on standards and tools.
• Ensure smooth rollout of new designs and support deployment of networking software tools.
• Maintain standards and ensure compliance across network tools.
• Deliver simple, sustainable, and repeatable solutions.
• Collaborate with escalation engineers and create documentation.

NDEs in the NTA team build test automation infrastructure to enable testing of network changes before deployment. The team works 24x7 on a rotation, focusing on automation, testing coverage, and networking/software skills.

The BERE organization designs, implements, and operates AWS's global networking infrastructure, supporting rapid growth and global connectivity.

• 4+ years of experience with major internet routing protocols.
• 1+ years in a Linux/Unix environment.
• 1+ years scripting in Python, Bash, Shell, or Perl.
• 4+ years supporting IP networks and systems.

• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, IP routing, security architecture, and core network technologies.
• Experience with vendor platforms like Cisco, Juniper, Arista, F5, Palo Alto, etc.
