Office Location: Hybrid/Remote option; Available for any of Partners' NC locations Closing Date: Open Until FilledPrimary Purpose of Position: This position will assist the Network Contract Manager in the drafting, implementing, and monitoring of all provider contracts, ensuring all financial requirements and obligations are accurately identified and executed. Role and Responsibilities: 60%: Responsibility for assisting Network Contract Manager with drafting, implementing and monitoring all provider contracts, helping to ensure all service related and financial information in contracts is accurate. Assist Network Contract Manager in the clarification of financial questions and issues with Provider Network Account Specialists. Assist Provider Network Managers/Account Specialists in communications between the Finance Department and the Provider Network Account Specialists regarding providers' financial questions/concerns. Assist with routing distribution of contract documents in a timely and thorough manner. 20%: Assist Provider Network Manager with provider communications including, but not limited to, contract terms, payment structures and reimbursement rates. Assist providers in understanding financial requirements of contract. Responds to provider inquires, concerns and complaints regarding contract issues as directed by Network Contract Manager. Ability to use DocuSign on a daily basis for sending and receiving contracts and amendments. 15% Ensure all contracts are executed with proper signatures and compliance with pre-audit requirement before filing and/or entering into the Cobblestone Contract Management system and Provider Network folders. 5%: Other duties as assigned, including participation on the Provider Network Committee, Network Management, Rate Setting, ASOUD Committee, and Provider Forums as requested and needed by the Network Contract Manager. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Considerable knowledge of state and federal fiscal rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of and ability to explain and apply the provisions of contractual practices adopted by State Government
  • Strong problem solving, decision-making and negotiating skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Education and Experience Required: Associate Degree in Accounting or Business and two years' experience in auditing, accounting, finance, or contract management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Other requirements: Must reside in North Carolina or within 40 miles of the NC border.
