Network Architecture Design Manager

Full Time Shaw AFB, SC

TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility

**This position is contingent upon contract award**

Job Description:

Responsibilities

The NADM will provide overall general IT Management support to the contract. The NADM's full time duty location will be onsite at Shaw AFB, SC but travel may be required to countries within the CENTCOM Area of Operations.

Job duties:

  • Design LAN, CAN, WAN data, voice and video
  • Configure and implement internal, external, and service provider routing protocols including but not limited to Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), and Multi-protocol Label Switching (MPLS).
  • Analyze networking metrics and recognize sub-par network performance.
  • Develop reports and trend analysis documentation on bandwidth and network security.
  • Troubleshoot network intrusion devices specific to the Department of Defense as well as many commercial information assurance tools to ensure proper design and integration.
  • Administer advanced Cisco network products such as VoIP and other advanced technologies.
  • Act as an on-shift training representative for both contractors and government personnel, including Cisco Switches and Routers, hardware troubleshooting disciplines, LAN technologies, and operating systems used on deployed systems.
  • Perform analysis for collaboration of network/system needs and participate in planning, designing, upgrading, and deployment of enterprise datacenter hardware and software using a project-based timeline.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in related field and 5 or more years of relevant IT experience (preferred); OR 7 or more years of relevant IT experience AND firewall experience.
  • CCNP and ITIL Foundation required.
  • Active TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility required.
