Network Administrator - Akkodis : Job Details

Akkodis is seeking a Network Administrator for a Contract job with a client in Kansas City, KS . The ideal candidate will lead L3 network troubleshooting and design with strong hands-on expertise in Cisco ACI, routing/switching, and Palo Alto firewalls. Must have proven experience in managing WAN/LAN and Azure cloud networks. Rate Range: $37/hour to $43/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Network Administrator job responsibilities include:

• Managing and maintaining LAN/WAN, wireless, and cloud network infrastructure
• Performing L3-level troubleshooting for network issues and outages
• Administering Cisco ACI, routing (OSPF, BGP), switching, and firewalls (Palo Alto, ASA)
• Supporting ITIL-based change management using tools like ServiceNow
• Monitoring performance and implementing improvements using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco DNAC

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in network administration or related roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, routing (OSPF/BGP), and switching technologies
• Expertise in managing Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/FP firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN
• Experience with Azure networking and cloud integration
• Familiarity with ITIL change management and ServiceNow ticketing system
• Proficient in using network tools like SolarWinds, Cisco DNAC, Prime, and Infoblox
