Position Summary: We are seeking a part-time Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its dedicated Nephrology team. This role is ideal for a compassionate and driven clinician who is fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese and eager to provide top-notch patient care. The PA/NP will work under physician supervision, performing physical exams, interpreting lab tests, overseeing patient health, and educating patients about their conditions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth in a supportive and dynamic medical setting. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the physician in diagnosing medical conditions, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications. • Provide patient education on diseases, treatment options, and preventive care. • Support out-patient dialysis rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. • Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures. • Maintain accurate patient records, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations. • Educate patients and their families on health management and chronic disease care. • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and uphold the highest ethical standards. Required Qualifications: • Completion of an accredited PA/NP program. • Active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification. • State of New York licensure (PA or NP). • Strong medical knowledge, clinical expertise, and ethical practice. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Schedule & Work Hours: • Part-time role (2-3 days per week). • Must be available for at least one Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, and one Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday. • Shift hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (including 60-minute unpaid meal break). • Guaranteed 16 hours per week.
