- This position requires a commitment to manage the department for continued growth with a strong emphasis on business development and marketing initiatives
- Other responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of environmental technicians and project managers (must supervise at least 2 full time employees), overseeing environmental services projects and report reviews, preparing proposals for environmental services, managing departmental P&L, and assisting other senior staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions
- The primary duty of this position is supervision of employees and daily management of the department
- This position may involve report preparation and project management duties based on the needs of the department
- Initiate project set up and implementation under the direct supervision of senior staff
- Basic knowledge of federal, state and local wetlands regulations and guidelines and their implications on findings and conclusions in studies.
- Work with senior staff to develop an understanding of the relation of field observations and sample results to findings and conclusions in the report
- Assist on wetland and natural resource projects
- Assists Staff PM with generating pre-field mapping; assists with NR field work under supervision of Staff PM or above. GPS operation and collection. Map generation from field data collection under supervision.

What We're Looking For
- BS in Biology, Ecology, Botany, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field; MS preferred
- 10+ years of natural resources/wetlands delineation/endangered species experience
- Relationships held with regulatory agencies would go a long way
