Salary: 90,000 - 115,000
Astrion/MEIS is seeking a Configuration Management Documentation Analyst to join our Space Systems division. MEIS (an Astrion subsidiary) supports NASA Ames Research Center Construction Permitting Review Board (PRB). The PRB manages typical planning, environmental review, engineering support and permitting activities specific to development projects within NASA Ames Research Center (ARC).
US Citizenship required. Requires successful Background check.
The NASA Ames Permitting Review Board (PRB) manages the processes involved with the submission of all design, construction, and related documents for review, approval, permitting and inspections. In addition, the role will Support the ARC Engineering Documentation Center (EDC) as a depository for all facility related project documentation. The Construction Permitting Review Board (PRB) will adhere to applicable NASA and Ames Procedures, California Building Standard Codes, and other federal and local codes addressing permitting and inspections.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years working experience as a document control, configuration manager, project controls, or contract administrator.
- Understanding of NASA procedural and Ames Procedural requirements (NPRs and APRs) specific to permitting and construction
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Box and cloud storage systems
- Understanding of permitting and construction principles
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Ideal candidate would have experience with NASA or Federal Permitting
- Knowledge of California Building Standards Code, and other federal and local codes addressing permitting and inspections is desirable
