Position OverviewNAPA Auto Parts is seeking a Senior Manager of Price Setting Operations to lead the day-to-day operations of our Price Setting team. This leader will manage a team of analysts responsible for managing cost changes, addressing competitive opportunities, implementing pricing strategies, and driving profitability across our B2B-focused, multi-channel distribution network. Position OverviewNAPA Auto Parts is seeking a Senior Manager of Price Setting Operations to lead the day-to-day operations of our Price Setting team. This leader will manage a team of analysts responsible for managing cost changes, addressing competitive opportunities, implementing pricing strategies, and driving profitability across our B2B-focused, multi-channel distribution network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pricing or revenue management and a passion for improving pricing systems, processes, and tools. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys driving operational excellence, leading high-performing teams, and using data to streamline pricing execution.Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Direct and develop a team of pricing analysts focused on price execution, system maintenance, data integrity, and competitive tracking. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Pricing Operations: Ensure timely and accurate implementation of pricing actions across channels. Oversee operational workflows related to new product pricing, system loads, and cost change execution.
  • Execution Excellence: Identify and implement process improvements that drive consistency, speed, and quality in pricing execution. Champion automation, simplification, and efficiency using tools and system enhancements.
  • Price Strategy Development: Partner on strategic pricing initiatives using a market-based approach in alignment with Category strategy.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and evaluate pricing performance metrics using BI tools and impact tracking dashboards oriented around KPIs, making data-driven recommendations for adjustments to enhance profitability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Cultivate relationships with Category Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT, Sales, and field teams to ensure alignment and execution of pricing strategies across all channels.
  • Price Management Software Expert: Become a subject matter expert in price management software such as PriceFX, PROS, or Vendavo. This may include influencing the design and implementation of pricing models and methodologies.
Qualifications (Required)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Finance, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in pricing management, revenue management, operations, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and price system integration (e.g., SAP, JDA, D365).
  • Demonstratable proficiency in Excel, BI tools, OneNote, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to evolving business needs and market conditions.
Qualifications (Preferred)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Business Analytics.
  • 7+ years of experience, with 3+ years in Pricing or Revenue Management.
  • Experience in automotive aftermarket, distribution, or high-SKU count environments.
  • Experience in multiple commercial functions (Category, Sales, Procurement, etc.).
  • Experience using price management software such as PROS, Vendavo, or PriceFX.
  • Store and/or distribution center experience.
  • Certified Pricing Professional (CPP).
