Nanny/Housekeeper - Household Staffing : Job Details

A Wonderful family is seeking an Amazing Nanny/Housekeeper in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY ASAP!They understand a hybrid role may involve trade-offs. Their top priority is a Nanny with strong childcare skills and the right personality fit - someone who can contribute meaningfully to the rhythm of their household. Childcare: • Strong, natural connection with children (ages 6 and 10 - increasingly independent, so the focus is less on care and more on engagement). Experience with pre-teens or teens. • Dynamic, joyful, and proactive energy • Creative engagement: arts & crafts, cooking, outdoor play, activities that reduce screen time to zero • Excellent communication with both children and parents - reliable, transparent, and proactiveHousehold Contribution: • Willingness to take on light to moderate housekeeping (tidying, laundry, organizing, basic errands) • Strong cooking skills - healthy family meals are a big plus • Comfortable in a structured yet warm family dynamicFlexibility & Fit: • French-speaking is a BIG plus • Availability to travel to Europe in the summer (8 weeks, July-August) and for occasional weekends in the HamptonTerms: Core working hours (37 hours per week): • Monday, 10 am to 7 pm (9 hours) • Tuesday to Friday, 12 pm to 7 pm (28 hours) Floating hours (3 hours per week) either for date night (7 to 10 pm) or weekend, or added to the core working hours. $45.00 per hour (Payroll)
