About the Family A warm and professional family located in Park Slope, Brooklyn is seeking a dedicated and proactive Family Assistant/Nanny to join their household long-term. Their current family assistant will be transitioning out at the end of August. The family has a 2.5-year-old daughter who attends preschool daily from 9 AM to 3 PM. Both parents work from home and highly value discretion, teamwork, and someone who will take initiative and become an integral part of their household.

Responsibilities - Provide engaged, hands-on care for their daughter after school until bedtime
- Assist with family-related tasks and household organization while the child is at school

- Prepare healthy meals for the child; track wardrobe, supplies, and developmental needs
- Support the family with occasional weekend babysitting
- Travel readiness: Must be open to 1-3 trips per year, domestic or international
- Be proactive and make suggestions (e.g., Have you tried...? ) regarding routines and child development
- Help maintain a calm, structured environment and be respectful of the family's routines and preferences
