Job Title: Music Director Hours: Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 – 4:30 Reports to: Head of SchoolJob PurposeTo inspire a love for music and to guide the children in their growth toward independence and self-discipline in a nurturing, loving way by modeling respect and creating a culture of peace. The expectation is to demonstrate an attitude of service and contribute to a cooperative atmosphere within the whole school community by living a Christ-like spirit.Responsibilities

• Guide elementary students to engage in music (violin, cello, and voice).
• Help students prepare music for special events.
• Direct orchestra practice after school twice a week.
• Guide students in singing practice.
• Guide Creative Expression class with the Adolescent students.
• Direct the adolescent musical theatrical performance.
• Direct high school musical theatrical performance.
• Keep school instruments in good working order.
• Communicate with parents about musical performances.
• Prepare students for all school performances.
• Support all the guides in their music understanding and presentations.
