Museum Volunteer Coordinator - Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission : Job Details

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Prince Georges County Department of Parks, and Recreation, Natural and Historical Resources Division is currently seeking a part-time year-round Volunteer Coordinator for the Riversdale House Museum to oversee a successful and diverse team of volunteers. The Riversdale House Museum, a circa 1801 National Historic Landmark and NPS Network to Freedom designated site, seeks a dynamic and creative volunteer coordinator to join our team. Built as a residence for Stier-Calvert Family, Riversdale interprets life starting in early Federal America through the Civil War. The home was operated through free labor by generations enslaved and indentured workers, which the Museum is currently researching to better represent and include those voices in its interpretation.
