Museum Collections Assistant - COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY : Job Details

The Gregory Allicar Museum of Art is hiring an employee to work with the museum collection under the direction of the Registrar/ Collections Manager. The employee will need to catalogue, inventory, and install works of art. They will be required to perform other general museum tasks as needed. They should be highly organized, efficient with details, and able to work independently, as well as in a team. Position Minimum Qualifications BFA or BA in studio art Experience with museum object handling. Experience with preparation of museum objects. Experience cataloguing museum collections. Good organizational, time management, and craftsmanship skills. Preferred Qualifications Strong problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Interest in museum career.
