Multiple Positions, Rocky Mountain Immigration Advocacy NetworkStaff Attorney or Senior Staff Attorney: This role involves serving as court-appointed counsel for clients with serious mental health or cognitive disabilities through the NQRP nationwide policy, who are unable to represent themselves in removal proceedings. The attorney will also represent survivors of crime and others who cannot afford private counsel. Universal Representation Staff Attorney: This position is made possible by Colorado's HB21-1194, which established the Colorado Immigrant Legal Defense Fund. The role involves providing a public defender-style model in Immigration Court for immigrants facing removal, emphasizing racial equity and due process. The goal is to offer representation regardless of case complexity, criminal history, or prior removal orders, aiming to represent all eligible individuals.
