Multimedia Production Specialist III
Join our team at Texas A&M University's Veterinary Integrative Biosciences department as a Multimedia Production Specialist III. In this role, you will design and create information technology-based multimedia products that combine text with sounds, pictures, graphics, video-clips, virtual reality, and digital animation.
Salary: $45,000 - $64,157 annually, commensurate to the selected hire's experience.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years of experience in video production, media asset management, or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, video production software, Google Suite, and project management software
- Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to conceptually understand instructional needs and translate them in multimedia designs
- Knowledge of planning and executing marketing plans with regards to multimedia preferred
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others

- QPR (Question Persuade Refer) Gatekeeper Training
Responsibilities
- Creative Content Production: Prepares and provides multimedia and print based materials. Produces, records, directs, publishes, and edits promotional, commercial, and/or news videos. Designs and constructs lighting arrangements for studio and location video productions. Designs, constructs, and sets pieces and props for studio productions. Sets up and operates cameras, lighting units, microphones, and other equipment for field production. Performs video post-production tasks including logging footage, creating rough cuts, and revising and final versions of video clips.
- Project Management: Plans, develops, supervises, and participates in projects. Provides input to policies, rules, and regulations. Prioritizes, organizes, and schedules work assignments and projects. Conceptualizes and coordinates content and design services. Supports the development and production of visualization projects and makes technical recommendations. Maintains style guide identity standards (e.g. TAMU identity, AgriLife identity, CET identity, and project sponsor identity).
- Asset Management: Conceptualizes and coordinates content and design services. Maintains and organizes all video assets. Assists with archiving footage. Evaluates products and services for quality standards. Researches and recommends new multimedia software based on project needs.
- Supervision: Hires, trains, schedules, and provides daily work direction to student employees. Monitors performance, provide feedback, and assist with problem-solving. Ensures student workers understand and follow departmental policies and procedures.
