Multimedia Producer - Mary Ann Liebert : Job Details

Innovative STM publisher seeks a Multimedia Producer to join its team. The Multimedia Producer is responsible for the full lifecycle production, project management, and successful delivery of our online multimedia products. This includes (but is not limited to) live and on-demand webinars, podcasts, and other digital media projects across the company. The primary focus of this role is webinar production management and delivery.

**Please note that this position is NOT a videography/video production role. We do not shoot and produce video content in-house.**

The ideal candidate will possess an appropriate mix of multimedia production experience, technical proficiency in the areas of audio and video editing, optimization for web streaming and interactive presentations, and, critically, very strong project/client management skills. Additionally, strong knowledge of industry tools used to create, edit, and deliver audio and video and other digital media assets is required. Specific experience managing and delivering webinars on the Workcast and/or Accelevents hosting platforms a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere strictly to departmental operating procedures and standards. Work to optimize efficiency and streamline production across projects and initiatives
• Assist the department manager and operational and sales leads to help define and standardize product offerings
• Use our proprietary project management system to create and maintain project plans, and centralize all project assets and metadata for access by all stakeholders
• Work with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to produce events and create digital assets
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and client interfacing skills
• Produce and deliver a full post-event reporting and analytics package to stakeholders
• Configure and manage webinar events within the delivery platforms (Workcast, Accelevents, Zoom, etc.)

Skills:

• Minimum of 3+ years of related experience in webinar and virtual event production, including web streaming for webinars, podcasts, and other digital media products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of end-products.
• Strong Project Management skills with attention to detail and ability to effectively manage a high volume of work
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency of the Microsoft suite of office productivity software including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience using Salesforce a plus
• Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency with industry-standard creative and audio/video production and editing tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere/Final Cut Pro/Davinci Resolve and others, is required.
• Basic HTML proficiency
• Familiarity with RTMP streaming and OBS
• Experience delivering online webinars and other video-based products
• Demonstrates critical thinking, initiative, persistence, and ability to problem-solve in a fast-moving production environment
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills

Education:

• BS/BA Degree in related field required
