As a Sonic Multi-Unit Leader, you will manage the operations of all General Managers and employees within multiple SONIC drive-ins. Your responsibilities include training and supporting employees to ensure the provision of quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. The job duties include:

  • Managing, training, and coaching General Managers, including conducting management orientations.
  • Directing and assigning employees to meet operational standards.
  • Overseeing employees and management across multiple drive-ins, performing duties in various stations (e.g., Fountain & Frozen, Dresser, Front Swamp, etc.) to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Ensuring compliance with employee handbook, policies, and practices.
  • Addressing employee issues and policy violations promptly and reporting them to supervisors.
  • Reviewing work schedules to ensure proper staffing and service continuity.
  • Monitoring cost control procedures for food, labor, and inventory, taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Monitoring vendor performance and taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Auditing employment and payroll records.
  • Reinforcing guest-first service principles with management.
  • Responding to guest requests and complaints respectfully and promptly.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring management team members.
  • Approving compensation levels within company guidelines.
  • Preparing operational reports and developing action plans for financial or sales issues.
  • Developing and implementing regional marketing plans.
  • Additional Requirements
    • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.
    • Minimum of three years restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
    • Experience supervising multiple units.
    • Availability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and legal labor practices.
    • Leadership, communication, basic accounting, and computer skills.
    • Ability to work independently, multitask, and solve problems effectively.
