SONIC Multi-Unit Leader Job Description

As a Sonic Multi-Unit Leader, you will manage the operations of all General Managers and employees within multiple SONIC drive-ins. Your responsibilities include training and supporting employees to ensure the provision of quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. The job duties include:
Managing, training, and coaching General Managers, including conducting management orientations.Directing and assigning employees to meet operational standards.Overseeing employees and management across multiple drive-ins, performing duties in various stations (e.g., Fountain & Frozen, Dresser, Front Swamp, etc.) to ensure quality standards are met.Ensuring compliance with employee handbook, policies, and practices.Addressing employee issues and policy violations promptly and reporting them to supervisors.Reviewing work schedules to ensure proper staffing and service continuity.Monitoring cost control procedures for food, labor, and inventory, taking corrective actions when necessary.Monitoring vendor performance and taking corrective actions as needed.Auditing employment and payroll records.Reinforcing guest-first service principles with management.Responding to guest requests and complaints respectfully and promptly.Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring management team members.Approving compensation levels within company guidelines.Preparing operational reports and developing action plans for financial or sales issues.Developing and implementing regional marketing plans.Additional Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.
- Minimum of three years restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
- Experience supervising multiple units.
- Availability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and legal labor practices.
- Leadership, communication, basic accounting, and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and solve problems effectively.
